Optimal control of liver metastases with intravenous cetuximab and hepatic artery infusion of three-drug chemotherapy in patients with liver-only metastases from colorectal cancer. A phase II trial. N° Eudract 2007-004632-24

The primary objective of the study is to increase by 15% the complete macroscopic resection rate of predominantly liver metastases from metastatic colorectal cancer through combining systemic cetuximab and hepatic artery infusion of three-drug chemotherapy as a chronomodulated or conventional administration in patients who had previously received one to three chemotherapy regimens.

The trial as included 64 patients and was closed to accrual in March 2013. Final results were presented at the Gastro-intestinal meeting of the American Society for Clinical Oncology (San Francisco, January 26th, 2013).
